If you’re a fan of great comic books like I am then you are most definitely reading Uncanny X-Force each and every month by Rick Remender and various artists, such as Jerome Opena as well as Phil Noto. There have been hints with the new Marvel NOW! initiative that there’s going to be some changes with the Uncanny X-Force series, but what those changes are we currently don’t know at this time, but we do know this December’s #35 will be the last issue of this series and the writer who has created the universe and brought it to us all along will be there from beginning to the end in December.
When asked about the changes that were coming for the Uncanny X-Force comic book series, Remender explained that he just had a lot on his plate and that there were some things he had to walk away from to make more room for stuff that he wanted to do currently at this time.
He has upcoming writing duties on the new Uncanny Avengers and the new Captain America comic book series and felt the need to walk away from Venom, Secret Avengers, and Uncanny X-Force, but notes that the time that he spent on the series is something that he will never forget.
All of the details concerning the upcoming changes to the series were explained in a recent interview at CBR where Remender goes on to explain some of the ideas he has in place for the end of the series, how he feels about ending the series, and what’s in store for him as well as teasers about what may be in store for Uncanny X -Force for the future.
