Newsarama is reporting that “Avengers Academy” will see its last issue (#39) this November as part of the new Marvel NOW! initiative makes its way through the Marvel Universe. When asked about the future of the characters and the title, writer Christos Gage told a Twitter follower, “Don’t cry, Ash! Really, don’t, it’s OK.I’m fine, and the characters will still be around, in other hands. Can’t say much more.” When asked, a Marvel rep said, “We have exciting plans. Stay tuned for major announcements over the next few months.” What those plans are, we’ll have to wait and see. And
