Variety is reporting that Bob Iger (Disney Executive) announced that Whedon will be returning to the Marvel universe with the already much anticipated sequel, Avengers 2. Not only is Whedon directing Avengers 2, he’ll also be working with ABC Studios to develop an Avengers-themed TV series! Iger said: “Joss Whedon has signed an exclusive deal with Marvel Studios for film and television through the end of June 2015,” Disney said
