Folks, to say that this is a huge week is an understatement!
In this video we cover 16 brand-new comic book series that are starting on top of everything else is shipping from all the comic publishers as well! Let me run through just a few of the brand-new series that are starting this week that are all important series that you may want to check out.
If you read Marvel’s Secret Wars event, then you will want to check out Death Of X #1 because this particular miniseries will give us the back story of what happened between the X-Men and the Inhumans during the eight month gap that we are clueless about!
On the heels of her Emmy award-winning series, Marvel gives us a brand-new Jessica Jones series starting this week taking a look at Jessica’s life and the new relationships that she’s gained and the old relationships that she let go of.
Also this week, with the debut of Luke Cage on Netflix, we get a Cage miniseries starting this week by the very creator of Samurai Jack and other fan favorite properties! Luke Cage is a hero for hire and his rates are reasonable!
The creative team that brought us 100 Bullets is teaming up again to bring us a brand-new creator own series dropping this week called Moonshine! This is a story of a big time mob boss during the Prohibition Era going to the one man in West Virginia that has the best moonshine of them all but with it comes a great and terrible price!
One of the most controversial comics that you will probably ever read drops this week and that is Black #1 from Black Mask Studios! Why is this so controversial? This comic series takes place in a world where only black people have superpowers and how the world is affected by that!
Last, some of our favorite comic book creators, Warren Ellis and Phil Hester, team up to give us a mystery, horror series called Shipwreck. This is the story of a man trying to find the person who sabotaged his life and the very same person may have the key to his salvation or may be the death of him!
DC Comics continues their Night of the Monster Men story line this week running through both the Batman and Nightwing series and Marvel Comics also continues there Civil War 2 tie-in series this week as well with Invincible Iron Man #14, Spider-Man 2099 #16, and Squadron Supreme #12
