It’s another awesome week of comic books, and this week is sure to surprise several folks with what is being offered for the shelves!
This week we have a diverse collection of brand new series that are starting from several different comic companies, and we’re excited to see so many different companies putting out quality work of this caliber.
If you’re a fan of Batgirl and Harley Quinn, do not miss the Batman Arkham Knight Batgirl and Harley Quinn One Shot that hits this week as we get to see an origin story of Batgirl and an adventure story for Harley Quinn as she goes from being what she used to be to being the bad girl that she is now.
Another very interesting series that we’re getting from Vertigo Comics this week is Dark and Bloody. This has the same artist, Scott Godlewski, that was on the Image comic series Copperhead doing the art for this series and this takes a look at a guy home from Iraq from working in the military, can’t find decent work, and decides to run moonshine in Kentucky with one of his former commanding officers, but they have a dark secret that has followed them from the Middle East all the way to the woods of Kentucky. We are definitely looking forward to checking this one out!
AfterShock Comics is releasing another new series this week called Second Sight, taking a look at a man with the unusual ability to be able to get into the mind of a killer almost to the point where he has been accused himself of actually being the killer, but now, 20 years later, his daughter is being threatened, and he will have to use his abilities again to save her and stop the crime that is going on all around them.
If you’re not familiar with Mike Baron, he created a character years ago called Badger, and now he is releasing a new mini-series with this fan favorite, cult favorite character starting this week. Badger is a little bit like Moon Knight. He has multiple personalities, but one of the most powerful ones is the one that is the martial artist known as Badger and that is coming back bigger than ever this week.
Tons of our favorites are hitting the shelf this week such as Old Man Logan, Injection, Descender, Snow Blind, and even more, so be sure and tell us in the comments below what you’re picking up this week.
Don’t miss our Question of the Week because it involves DC Comics, and we want to know your opinion!
