I remember when the first ongoing Batgirl series started back in 2000. Kelley Puckett and Damion Scott were on the title at the time and I looked forward to every issue. I loved the concept of Cassandra Cain as the new Batgirl and Scott was killing it on art. Chris Arrant recently sat down with Damion Scott to talk about he’s career, where he’s been, where’s heading, and what’s in store for the artist. [via Robot6]
There’s a lot of anticipation for the new Marvel NOW! launch of “Uncanny Avengers” by Rick Remender and John Cassaday. CBR has a few colored preview pages to display that show Cassaday’s detailed work. I’m looking forward to the combination of Avengers and X-Men on the same team. The more I think about it, the more idea makes sense to me.

Saga is a new Image Comics series that has taken the comic industry by storm. What Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples are doing with the series is really an experience that goes to prove there are some stories that can only be told in the comic book format. CBR has a great interview with series artist Fiona Staples about the world of Saga, her creative process, and what she knows about the future of the story of Saga.
Until next time!
