This is the week! DC Comics finally gives us the series that they have been hyping for months now with the release of Justice League vs Suicide Squad #1! The Justice League is not happy to find out that Amanda Waller has been running her own special black ops team to do the bidding of the government secretly and now they plan to do something to stop it once and for all! Take a look as two ideologies clash in this weekly limited series!
DC’s Green Lantern Corps is teaming up again with Star Trek for a second volume of their hit series from IDW Comics! Both the Green Lantern Corps and the crew of the Enterprise will face threats from the 21st and 23rd centuries starting this week!
Marvel Comics starts their “Grounded” storyline with brand-new series with the Guardians of the Galaxy’s Star-Lord and Gamora! We get to take a look at Gamora’s past to see how she changed from being a heartless assassin to savior of the weak as well as what Peter Quill will do here on earth if he’s not out guarding the galaxy!
Dark Horse Comics gives us a very interesting new series this week called Dead Inside, taking a look at the criminal justice system that works with in our country’s prison systems when a murder is committed with in a prison. This takes a look at one detective in particular as she takes on a case that changes her, her beliefs about her job, and her view of the justice system in general. Will she survived this case?
The Clone Conspiracy continues this week in Amazing Spider-Man #22 and we also get an Inhumans vs X-Men tie-in issue with Uncanny X-Men #16, so if you are reading either of those storylines, don’t miss these key tie-in issues!
