[VIDEO] Darick Robertson Spills on “Happy” and “Oliver” in New Video!

We’ve talked about Darick Robertson and his creator-owned series “The Boys” coming to a close and we’ve even mentioned his new creator-owned series with Grant Morrison, “Happy“.

But in this new video interview with Robertson, he spills about his work on “The Boys”, what it’s been like to work with Grant Morrison on “Happy”, and even describes his next work with Gary Whitta, “Oliver“, coming from Image Comics. Robertson describes “Oliver” this way:

“[‘Oliver’] is a steampunk reinterpretation of the classic ‘Oliver Twist’ by Dickens with a completely original understory by Gary,” said Robertson. “It’s post-apocalyptic and yet full of really vibrant characters and a place for me to go crazy with my designs and work in a genre that I haven’t gotten to, but I love. I see steampunk in ‘Star Wars,’ I see steampunk in a lot of places people don’t see it. I think it’s been lingering around popular culture for a while.”
