Avengers Arena #7 Review by Randy Young This book might have been my favorite read of the week! Hopeless gives us an intermission to the current storyline to answer the question we’ve all been asking. How did Arcade become this bloodthirsty and ruthless? And answer it he does. Apparently every year Arcade has a big … [Read more…]
Saga #12 Review by Randy Young It’s amazing how two little pictures can cause so much controversy. Those two pictures had a point but were so insignificant compared to what was happening in this story. This issues focuses on the robot prince. Though he’s put out a price on Marko and Alana, he’s not going … [Read more…]
The Walking Dead #109 Review by Randy Young At first glance, the cover of this issue and the location make it look like it’s taking a break from the current storyline to look at how Maggie is handling life on the Hilltop. That thought is quickly quieted when Jesus shows up. Jesus is there to … [Read more…]
Batman & Red Robin #19 Review by Randy Young Most people will love the return of a classic Frank Miller character. I loved this book for a totally different reason. I’ve said over and over again that Peter Tomasi is proving every month that he just might be DC’s best writer. His stories are engaging, … [Read more…]

Members of The … [Read more…]

Uncanny Avengers #5 Review by Randy Young Written by Rick Remender Art by Olivier Coipel Captain America isn’t running this team. He put Havok in charge but he still seems to be pulling a lot of strings from behind the scenes. Havok isn’t really having that and Cap doesn’t seem too happy. This series started … [Read more…]
Age of Ultron #3 Review by Randy Young Written by Brian Michael Bendis Art by Bryan Hitch We are three issues into the Age of Ultron and people are beginning to grumble that we have yet to see Ultron. While I can see why they might be disappointed, I can’t help but think they are … [Read more…]
East of West #1 Review by Randy Young Written by Jonathan Hickman Art by Nick Dragotta Fans of Jonathan Hickman’s wild, expansive, trippy imagination will eat this series up. People who take a chance and pick up this issue on a whim will be glad they did. Right now, Jonathan Hickman might as well use … [Read more…]
