Age of Ultron #1 Review by Randy Young So the Age of Ultron is upon us. Is anybody else as lost as I am? Brian Michael Bendis dumps us right into the middle of a story without any explanation. Characters are acting way different than I’d expect them to, a city is totally decimated, and … [Read more…]
Uncanny X-Force #2 Review by Randy Young Two issues in and I’m still loving this relaunch. It’s a different kind of story than those Remender was telling. Humphries has put together a team consisting of Psylocke, Storm and Puck to find a little girl that is being held captive/protected by Spiral. Meanwhile, the good Fantomex … [Read more…]
The Legend of Luther Strode #3 Review by Randy Young This issue is the halfway point for the second story about Luther Strode. Luther has embraced his ultra-violent ways in his crusade against the mob. This has upset the mod and in return they have hired the mysterious killer to take Strode down. The thing … [Read more…]
Batman Incorporated #8 Reviews by Randy Young This was a book I knew I had to get. This was one of the few times I was glad I’d seen the spoilers. I was there for the beginning, so it was only fitting I was there for the ending. The problem was, I had to get … [Read more…]
Uncanny Avengers #4 Review by Randy Young Wolverine is everywhere. He’s in every book. Some people like this, some don’t. Creators have taken him and put him on teams just to drive up sales. For the next 24 hours, Murder World’s environment will … [Read more…]
FF #4 Review by Randy Young The Future Foundation is not happy with the Fantastic Four’s choice of replacement protectors of the Earth and guardians of the Baxter building and all within. Alex Power (of the Power Pack) is not happy with Scott Lang (Ant-Man). Lang has made the decision to take down Doctor Doom. … [Read more…]
Young Avengers #2 Review by Randy Young I loved this issue just as much as I loved the premier issue. Gillen focuses on Hulkling and Wiccan. Wiccan decided last issue to do something for Hulkling and it backfired big time. Their whole world instantly started crumbling around them. There is only one person who can … [Read more…]
Nova #1 (2013) Review by Randy Young This is a book that I picked up for two reasons. The first is that it will supposedly have strong ties to the cosmic event that will happen this summer. The second is that it will have Gamora and Rocket Raccoon. The premise behind this book is that … [Read more…]
The Sixth Gun #29 Review and The Sixth Gun: Sons of the Gun #1 Review by Randy Young The Sixth Gun might be the best comic that most people are not reading. This book is a mixture of western and horror. Issue 29 is almost a filler that introduces us to characters that will be … [Read more…]
